Better not show Gucci this post - poor dog! I think I've got everything - pipe, goblet, velvet vest - and - oh yes, just had to throw in a little Texas here - those are COWBOY BOOTS! Now that I've slept a night and seen my post with fresh eyes - I see I have NOT got AG's body type at all!! This dude does not have a long and lean look! He looks more like the short and stocky type - like an E.Gorf.!! Oh well - its the THOUGHT THAT COUNTS, RIGHT? Hope Ali isn't too dismayed at my effort...!!??
Oh wow! I missed this yesterday... what a distinguished young man (I rather shudder at the pipe and goblet, but I know he wants them just for effect!) Thank you for doing a preliminary drawing to get the old cogs moving - perhaps I will do this - the subject of the painting is worn out and sleeping right now after a long squawk on his new playstation - will show him when he wakes up...
I showed this to Ali - he says ":)That's the rough idea :)" ...wants it more zoomed in to the head and chest area, and looking away slightly, so you've clarified a few things, thanks! He's quite impressed! -as for the cowboy boots he said you had to get your Texas two cents in - ha ha.
