Ooh, what a lot of lovely sketches to look at after a long hiatus, GPH! I can see Vonnie very clearly in all of these, even not having seen her for a long time - I'll have to leave a comment on EACH ONE, I hope you don't mind!
Umm...what..? I did put a comment on there too, maybe it came through later...it's there now, anyway, and I put a message for Von on 'If it's Friday' now (just 'cos it's a more Illustration type thing...and it's Friday!)
I know! I know! I was just saying... IF - IF - IF... you didn't leave a comment on each one I'd have to nudge you!! I did see and read all your comments - thank you!! We just looked at the ellie card on IIF. Its beautiful - thank, Cath!
Now I can add comment too.Sharing a computer with a busy husband is not easy, but he is in a long meeting back here at Elvendon. And we've spent the last week away in Norfolk and then France. The Vonnie sketches are clearly filled with love and all those feelings one has about a daughter growing up, up and away. Which is how it should be, no? Clear likenesses and a real insight for a distant aunt ... there is more here than in a snapshot. Beautifully done, and I love that scripture. It is like a rock in today's shifting and shifty world.
