Glad to have this little blog. It has been the source of fellowship, creativity, joy and a fair amount of frustration and angst! It is fitting that I got out my box of Crayola to colour this celebratory cupcake - I still feel like such a beginner. And that wax crayon smell is so comforting! In my head I'm singing with Maria "Let's start at the very beginning... It's a very good place to start... When you read you begin with A B C..."

Happy happy Blogday! I've so enjoyed seeing snippets of your life in Sugarland - looking forward to LOTS more sketches and blogs here on Ketchup ;o)!! Your cupcake is delightful - happy and sunny. Wax crayons are fun and the smell brings back warm fuzzy memories. I love that resist thing when you put black ink over them and they shine through.
(I tried to leave this message here earlier, when my computer started behaving very strangely and I quickly switched off in case a virus was trying to infiltrate... did a scan, and it seems fine, but I had two rather strange comments that I'm a bit suspicious about...?? Right after I'd clicked on their links, the pooter did it's nut - ooh-er :o-)

Happy Blog Anniversaire!!!! I have had so much fun with wax crayons myself.. oooooooo - now you have inspired me -> want to buy some new ones,,,, ... great fun shaving them onto paper - covering with another sheet.. and IRONING AWAY... to a melted mass of colourful fun !!!!!
